Rick has always been interested in mechanics and how things work. He graduated as a Technician Mechatronics first and after this graduated as BSc Ing. in industrial engineering with the focus on Lean Six Sigma, continuous improvement and company and production processes but also quality related customer and supplier challenges.
This is his passion and he has over seven years of experience in this field. In 2026 he joined Onnes Technologies to develop the production environment for volume production activities starting with the ArQtika.
Rick is all about having a hands-on approach, boots on the ground. Finding possible areas that can be improved by working together with the team at Onnes, the customer and the supplier and implementing improvements in a multidisciplinary way.
In his free time Rick likes to work on his old-timer cars, being with friends, enjoying nature and tinkering in and around the house.
