Real time video of growth of Graphene on liquid copper:

It is truly amazing engineering achievement to observe the growth of graphene on the surface of melted copper in real time. Such ability provides direct feedback on the growth parameters to the operator and allows researchers to study growth mechanisms of 2D materials in detail. Control over the motion and coalescence of graphene flakes on the molten copper surface will open new technological opportunities for the growth of graphene and other 2D crystals.
